Removing a hub has become hell.

Iv been trying to drop a gearbox for 2 days in the rain.

I need to get the shafts out it takes a 32mm 12 point deep socket and iv got all the way up to 27 then a single 32mm the splines are in good condition and they seem to catch a little bit it slips off when I add enough torque is there a way I could make it come free easier or get a tighter fit from the 32 socket just to get this done?
