Laptop cooling pad that does NOT connect to USB-A

Hi,

I am looking for a laptop cooling pad which does not rely on connecting to a laptop's USB-A ports. The ports on my machine are dead unfortunately. I have USB-C ports which work, but I cannot find any pads which connect to USB-C, and the googling I have done suggests that using a USB-A to USB-C converter can be problematic. I guess the only other option is something which connects directly to a wall outlet, which would work for me. Anyone have a good recommendation? TIA
