AITAH for now dating my friends ex-girlfriend a month after they broke up?

yes,i know the title sound bad, but please let me explain

let me give you some context, to begin with,

we all met through our class, and in the beggining of the year we formed a friendgroup, slowly this girl (ill call her L) and another guy from the class (for the story ill call him S) started dating a few months ago, i wasnt really close with S, it was a friendship due to the fact we shared the same circle of friend.

they both dated and it became pretty serious, (and very important to note that in that time there was nothing going in between us nor did i felt anything towards her) but towards the end, everything became really bad between S, S became really not nice towards everyone including L, they broke up due to the fact S stopped loving L and it ended kind of badly due to S mistreating L.

after a while things cleared up and the fact S treated L pretty badly, and after hearing the fullstory it was pretty clear he was an asshole, we both talked about this topic a lot and we started getting closer and closer,

after a month-ish i started having feeling towards her and she gave me a hint that she liked me back, so it became kind of a thing.

now i am not sure what to do, does it make me an asshole? i know it seems really bad, but if L would not have given me any hints i wouldnt do anything no matter what, i feel really bad about the entire thing, and im not sure what to expect anymore

*another thing to mention she was very clear about her moving on.
