Roblox downloaded from the website keeps "Not responding" on pc

(sorry if this is the wrong tag lol) idk how to explain this but every time I play roblox downloaded from the website it goes into its 'stopped responding' state like roughly 30-60mins in of playing, sometimes longer or shorter, and never leaves it unless I forcibly close out of roblox (even after a few hours of waiting.) but whenever I just play from the one downloaded from the Microsoft store it works perfectly fine. idk why it only does it when I down roblox from the website version and can't find anything about it. I don't want to play the Microsoft version because vc doesn't work on there I would like to play with it.
