TEAM V PANATHINAIKOS

This is the team that I believe will start.

Butland

Tav, Souttar, Djiga, Aarons

I don't agree with playing a RB at LB, any more than I agreed with playing Ridvan at RB, because it's so restrictive, but I'm basing this on him starting there ahead of Jefte in 2 of the friendlies. It also means having 2 loan players making up the left side of the defence which I think is unhealthy.

He's made it very clear that Tav is his captain and so he will start.

Raskin, Rothwell, Diomande

MF pretty much picks itself, although Bajrami played very well in the 2nd half v Brugge and might get a game instead of Cortes.

Dowell, Danilo, Cortes.

I can't believe that we're going to be starting with Dowell on the right but it seems well be playing 4-5-1 and Dowell suits the manager's style of play.

My team would be:

Butland Aarons, Souttar, Djiga, Jefte Raskin, Rothwell, Diomande Bajrami at no 10 Danilo, Cortes

Cerny is going to be a major miss in Europe.
