Considering a 8.5 – Why did you pick it over competitors?

Title says it.

I am seriously considering a 8.5 Black Edition with Akrapovic. Goal is to get a fun and practical car to accompany our Touareg 3, which is mainly used for family purposes.

I am now also checking the competition (A45, RS3) and would like to hear what was the final argument for your pick.

There just aren‘t many options if you expect all wheel drive, 4 doors and decent power.
