I posted ten days ago and thought I would only have 2-3 days left with Karma. We had gone to a new vet because ours wasn’t helping or giving answers and vet bills on am artists budget will leave me starving.
The new vet is amazing. They taught me how to give Karma fluids and they are overall more patient and empathetic. (I’m planning to ask if I can trade art for services because I keep paying with my cc)
Karma wasn’t drinking or eating on her own and now she is. She’s still having bladder spasms and occasional accidents/incontinence but is making it to the litter box most times. She’s started cleaning herself again. She’s purring again and actually wants cuddles (she wasn’t purring and didn’t want to even sit by me when she felt sick)
She does get mad at me when I have to give her the fluids and I’m sure her little neck tuft is sore from being poked everyday.
I just want to thank everyone for all your prayers because I know it may not be a long time but I now have time to cuddle her and let her know I love her. I have time to save up money for the in home end of life vet to come when it’s time to say good bye ao karma doesn’t have to suffer.
I appreciate all of you so much. Thank you. It’s hard but I’m grateful. If anyone needs a quirky pet portrait hit up my DMs and also watch my IG or FB for my upcoming kitty art to help pay for all our meds/needles/peepads/expensive kitty food :) cause my baby does deserve the best end of life I can provide. Xoxo- karma and Miranda
