Is it just me that thinks the vex are a boring faction?

I'm watching contest mode on the new raid rn, and all I can notice is how boring it looks? I mean, the vex as a faction personally (idk about anyone else) ruins things for me in anything. I hate VOG and GOS (even though I'm aware that people universally hate Garden) solely because of the vex, and I've figured out that it's the bosses for me. The lore is so goated, and from people claiming that the huge cyclops' are just regular soldiers they sure don't bring any new vex into the fray. The best they can do with it is to recolor them, and I find it pretty lazy (if the fact that they're just regular soldiers is false, then feel free to re educate me). They never introduce new types of vex, and their bosses consist of hydra's, and cyclops'. I mean, there is so much potential for new vex, yet they do absolutely nothing but recycle the same kinds of bosses. Does anyone feel the same way about the vex? Or is it just me?
