Post-apocalyptic YA novel with dome/maze setting + female protagonist

UNSOLVED

I’ve been racking my brain trying to remember the title of this novel I read sometime in the late 2000s (between 2009–2014.) I had a hard copy, and I think it was a standalone (not part of a series).

Just listing down what I recall of it :

  • Post-apocalyptic world, possibly dystopian, with a dome-like structure enclosing the setting
  • The environment had poisonous air or something toxic; the characters needed oxygen supply to survive or move around after making their way through one place to another.
  • There was a confusing maze-like structure, maybe even pipes the protagonist had to crawl through
  • The main character was a young girl, possibly deaf/mute/blind or had some kind of impairment. I remember she struggled to navigate the world physically
  • There was a class system. lower levels = lower class, upper levels = elite or high class
  • She was often described as wearing dirty clothes, and there was at least one instance of the lower class people facing de*th by starvation
  • The book cover had a greenish tint, and I clearly recall a translucent dome on it. The background may have had a sandy/hazy feel

It wasn't very well-known I believe, this was more obscure, and I don’t think it got a movie adaptation or anything like that either. I remember picking this up around the time that the Maze Runner series had been released, so very likely in the early 2010s

If anyone has even the slightest idea of what this could be, I’d be forever grateful.
