Burnt out and raising young kids - looking for games 10-15hrs that I can dip into, finding it very hit and miss

Hi,

Wondered whether I'd be able to ask for some suggestions please? The Games on my 'not enjoyable' list are mainly good games, that I simply can't get into temporarily at this stage in life.

Games that have been enjoyable recently:

  • Death's Door

  • Islets

  • Minit

  • Return of the Obra Dinn

  • Chants of Sennaar

  • Monkey Island (kinda)

  • Steamworld Dig 2

  • Clair Obscur just before the second little one arrived, became one of my all time favourite games. Not a small game but thought to mention it for context.

Games that I've not particularly enjoyed:

  • Tunic

  • Bastion

  • Typoman

  • Cult of the Lamb

  • Stanley Parable

  • Dredge

I think I'm leaning towards either Metroidvanias, deduction games, engine builders or world builders, or potentislly smaller roguelikes, (roguelights?).

Thank you!
