What happens when you buy a DLC for a character you already have?

So about a week or so ago, I purchased auric cells and used them to get Springtrap. I want to get the badge and banner that comes with the dlc. If I went and spent thr 5 bucks on the pack would I get like cells or shards as compensation since I already own Springtrap?
