Quality of 14060 vs 124060 sub?

I am thinking about upgrading to new 124060 sub because of the rattly bracelet in 14060. Are there any differences in feel or perceived quality in finishing of these watches besides the bezel and bracelet?

I much prefer the looks of my old watch and if there are alternative options for more modern bracelets all the ideas are welcome. It does not have to be Rolex bracelet.
