What to do with a laptop that needs new motherboard

Hi guys,

I have a hp pavilion Ryzen 5 3550H GTX 1650 16GB RAM 512 M.2 + 1 TB HDD

Something happened with it, now the problem is that as soon as I plug my charger my clock speed get's locked to 0.4 GHz, it works absolutely file when it's running on battery the issue only happens when charger is connected, their is no issue with the charging port, battery, charger, windows settings etc. I have shown it to multiple technicians no one is able to fix it, some say it might die if they try to fix it, some say it can't be fixed it and they would need to replace the motherboard. Wanted to know your suggestions on what should I do with my laptop? Motherboard change would cost around 25K which I think too much on almost 5 year old laptop. Exchange on Flipkart will only give 5-6k, I feel sad to let go of my laptop for such low price
