Pulling trucks with parking brake ON.....

Is it just me, or the option to turn ON the motor of a truck when pulling one out of a mud pit should also automatically turn the parking break OFF. I don't remember how many time I forgot about this, wondering why in the hell it was so hard to pull only to find out the parking break was ON all along.
