Hey all. Recently opened a Roth, tips? Invest max asap or over time throughout the year?

Recently opened a Roth and have enough money to put the max 7k for the next 2 years. I plan on primarily investing in index funds and not touching until retirement. Is it better to dump the max 7k now into the Roth or do it over time with the hope of buying into bigger dips?
