Re uploading because I put the wrong video

My aggressive sprint to mediocrity continues!

Hit some cleans and clean pulls today.

Full cleans were… okay. I’m realizing I can power clean more than full clean, which obviously means I’m still in the “dumpster fire” stage of learning technique, but I think the fires getting smaller at least haha.

For focus on the cleans, I was trying to pull the bar in close to me on the way up. Felt a bit weird, actually missed a few reps where I essentially yet the bar backwards into my windpipe, which felt about as good as you’d expect haha. Think I gotta better about lat tightness over the sets, certainly the best I’ve had yet. Sinking down and looking forward at the bottom, last time I went from the ground It was pointed out I was looking down, think I did a better job there.

Moved into Clean Pulls. I have never done these before, and wasn’t entirely sure where to settle on the weight. In my head, my conventional dead is low-mid 500s currently, and I generally use 315-355 for speed work, so I thought I’d just drop a bit of weight from what I do for speed work and use it for clean pulls.

I thought they felt good, considering I don’t know how they are supposed to feel lol. Definitely a different setup in the bottom, and engages the quads a lot more on the lift. Dirt shrugging at the top…. I think I’m supposed to do that lol.

Any advice appreciated!

Also, Jesus Christ, ik I’m new to this, but hook grip was NOT my friend on these lol. I mean, it was secure as hell, but I get why people say this hurts lol.
