Moving in with family and don’t know where to put my cats litter box

I’m moving back in with my aunt at the end of this month and really can’t decide where the best place would be for my cat’s litter box. I’ve lived with my aunt previously so I know the layout and honestly the only two options are the kitchen (not sure how she would feel about that) and the laundry room. These are the only two rooms in the house without carpet. Ideally I would want to have it in my bathroom, but it’s so incredibly small that i don’t think it would fit. Laundry room isn’t that big either and it’s also a high traffic area because it’s connected to the garage. I almost want to put it in my bedroom but it’s carpet :/My aunt’s never had a cat before so I don’t want to inconvenience her but I also want my cat to feel comfortable doing the do as he’s only ever known my small apartment. Pls help
