Flying giant cat from US to THAILAND *Need suggestions and tips*

General

I'm moving to SE Asia, but my current issue is that my cat is 28 lbs., 6 years old (main coon) -- and he gets severe anxiety when in a car to the point he will poop and pee on himself, as well as panting. He has done several 7-9 hour car rides, and I have tried multiple different things for him, ironically, the sedation from when he got neutered was the only time I didn't see him panicking in the car (it was a 9 hr. trip and he seemed drugged for 4-5 days). I really really don't want to have him in cargo for what it could be potentially 24 hours, but it seems like it will be impossible for me to let him in the cabin.

I wanted to leave him at my family home, but they seem very uninterested in the idea, despite him growing up there for several years, i think its partially because they don't want me moving out of the states. and so I'm trying to find a way to take him with me-- which i prefer, but not at the cost of his health. I haven't bought the plane ticket yet because I am trying to find a solution. Is there any airline to Thailand that will allow me to have him in the cabin? If cargo, is there any airline that will check on him for me and take care of him? I'm willing to fork some money for him to be as comfortable as possible.. that's reasonable of course. Anyone have similar experience and recommendations?
