Anyone really into shorter guys?

So I’m 5’11” and I have been told I have a type “small dark and handsome”. All of my LTR have been with guys 5’6”. I have dated taller guys but just never really went anywhere. I see everywhere that guys always want someone tall or complaints that the guy was short after a date. Am I the anomaly or are there others out there who gravitate to the short kings and dont really announce it?
