Am I overreacting

❤️‍🩹 relationship

Let me set the scene:

Husband calls the wife while she’s out and asks “are you going to feed me?” Wife responds with “I can go to the store and buy a loaf of bread and make us sandwhiches.” Husband replies “No i don’t want that.” Wife then says “ok well that’s all I can do right now.”

Phone call ends.

Wife returns home about 5 mins after that call and sees that husbands truck is gone. So she calls him to see where he’s at. He says he’s at Taco Bell. Wife ask “oh ok are you getting everyone food?” (there’s 3 kids at home) He says “Nope no one’s awake.” Wife says “oh ok…” he didn’t ask wife if she wanted anything so the wife assumes he will probably bring her something back.

Husband returns home but is empty handed and wife says “I thought you went to Taco Bell?” He says “I did I just got a quesadilla.” Wife is stunned that he didn’t bring anything back but doesn’t say anything. And argument ensues about 10 mins later from an unrelated but slightly related matter. And husband says “well I didn’t know you didn’t have any money I was just hungry so I went and got something to eat.” Side note: this couples finances are all separate. The wife is still very confused on why it would matter if she had money or not as to why her husband didn’t ask her if she wanted anything to eat.

Now, does it make the wife crazy for being upset and confused by this? Husband said he just didn’t think to ask (even though he just got off the phone with wife about eating)

Or is this a viable reason to be upset?
