How would you price this sit?
I price my current care at $70/night for house sitting, +$25/additional animal. (We like in a HCOL area so these prices are actually on the lower side of what's competitive right now).
Someone reached out to me for house sitting for their dog and cat. They stated its only for overnight, and they'd expect me to be around for 10-12 hours each evening to feed dinner/breakfast and cuddle them (and I assume other standard cat care like emptying the litter, etc). No walks, on additional check in during the day as they will have neighbors do walking and day care. They just want someone to keep their pets company overnight as they're older (13).
They asked if I would be willing to adjust my prices for this, which I'm open to as the no walks and other day time pet care is pretty good. I'm considering giving them the cat price 'for free' and keeping it at $70/night for both animals. What do people think of this? What would you price?
