First Trip to Pattaya – Which Area to Stay In?

I’m planning my first trip to Pattaya and have started looking into the different areas of the city, what kind of apartments are available, what to expect in terms of pricing, distance from the center, and so on.

I could use some advice on which area to choose.

Here’s what I’ve figured out so far: I’ll be staying for around 2–2.5 months. Since that’s quite a long period, I’m obviously not going to be partying every single day, so Central Pattaya might not be the best fit for me.

At the moment, Pratamnak seems like a good option—quiet but still reasonably close to the action. Jomtien also looks attractive, especially with places like the Copacabana complex, which seems amazing. The only thing I’m unsure about is whether Jomtien is too far from Central Pattaya 🤔

My current plan is to go out 2–3 nights per week, so I want to be somewhere with a good balance of peace and access.
