Silicone mat or similar with densely spaced, firm bristles

My wife has a hand held rechargeable vacuum that she uses for her business. She loves it but her most used attachment for it wearing out. It's a small rectangle with the vacuum opening in the middle and a strip of silicone bristles above and below it for getting pet hair out of carpet.

The company doesn't sell replacements. Looking at it, I could easily make my own if I could find the right material. I was thinking something like this. The bristles look very close together and compact which I definitely need. They are too long but they could easily be trimmed. The backing looks thin enough for me to be able to cut out the shape I need. I also like that it's a good sized floor mat because I'll be able to cut out the small shape I need many times to make replacements for the future as they eventually wear out again.

My concern from looking at the videos of this and similar items is that the bristles are very soft and won't last long at all for my purposes.

Has anyone seen anything similar to this but with firmer bristles?
