My parents keep taking my phone away

my parents used to only take my phone away when i did something wrong but nowadays my mum asks for my phone every single night. i get my phone in the morning during the weekdays, but that’s mainly because i told them that i need my phone at school to study. during the weekends/holidays, i’m lucky if i get my phone at all. i’m 14 years old and it feels like shit knowing that none of my friends get their phone confiscated and i’m the only person i know who gets treated like this. when i don’t have my phone they make some bullshit statement like “look at how nice you are without your phone” which just pisses me off because i know that i’m the same regardless of whether i have my phone or not. when they ask for my phone they hide it somewhere so i can’t get it. if i ask why i should give my phone to her, my mum tries grabbing my phone off me. if she still doesn’t get it she’ll say “if you don’t give me your phone now, you won’t get it for a year” and at that point i’m forced to hand my phone over. it’s always my mum asking for the phone as well. she shows me some fuckass instagram post which says something like “the screen is taking over your child”, “save them before they become a dopamine zombie”, or some bs like that. i don’t know how i’m going to stop my phone getting confiscated. are any of you experiencing this? does anybody have any suggestions on how to get my phone consistently?
