🎯 Resetting My Web Dev Journey After Years of Tutorial Hell – Started Building from Day 1 (Live Demo + GitHub Included)
Hey folks,
I wanted to share something that might resonate with a few people here.
I spent years watching tutorials, following along, and telling myself I was “learning web development.” But every time I tried to build something on my own… I froze. No direction. No confidence. Total blank.
So I’ve stopped all tutorials for now and started rebuilding my foundation with a strict challenge-based, project-first approach.
🔧 First Step – 3-Day Kickstart Challenge
To break the mental block, I forced myself to build something small but complete — without copying.

No frameworks. No dependencies. Just vanilla HTML/CSS/JS to get the basics strong.
💡 What I'm Doing Now:
- Following a 6-month, hardcore roadmap (Deepseek)
- Resetting JavaScript via javascript.info
- Practicing daily on Codewars
- Building small projects every day
- Logging my progress publicly (GitHub, Reddit, LinkedIn)
