Upgrading t1 archboss weapon

I'm planning to upgrade t1 tevent daggers, they are fully traitred , after upgrage tevent inferno fangs will have previous traits or there would be only 1 random trait ( like its working with upgrading accesories to a newer one with set bonus)?
