Do heat bonding products also heat protect?

⚡️ Frizzy Hair ⚡️

I wash and dry my hair twice a week, and grow up believing that products were generally bad for your skin and hair. Over the years, unsurprisingly, my hair has sustained heat damage from blow drying. My stylist recently recommended a bonding product (Trinity Surface Repair) which I felt really helped to tame the frizz, but it is obscenely expensive. Then I started going down the rabbit hole of bonding vs heat protecting products. Can anyone explain the general difference between the two? Or do they work similarly?
