Is there an alcoholic drink better than others

Hi, I am going away on a lads weekend soon and I am just wondering would there be a better alcoholic drink to consume than others? I would normally drink beer/larger but I’ve read somewhere that fizzy drinks can cause side effects because of the carbonation in the drink. Would beer be the same? As it’s a weekend with the lads, we do tend to let loose. None of them know I’m on mounjaro!
