I live in Washington State and there is hardly any diy solar people here as far as I know. Most of the solar panels I see are grid tied systems from blueravens tesla etc..

Anyways, my plan was to install 4k solar on my roof to feed DPU with 2 batteries, 12k, and use that to offset utilities and emergency power backup. I have been looking for solar panel installation contractors and electricians to install SHP2 but I couldn't find anyone for solar panel installation due to they only install the panels purchased from their company or only if I purchase the whole solar power backup system. So far, no luck finding contractor to install solar panels on my roof so, I am planning to do it myself once I get everything ready and do more research.

However, I found the electrician around my area to install SHP2 and the quotes they are giving me are ridiculous. As you see in the pictures.. $5k and $6k.. that's crazy. I googled average subpanel installation cost and it was like $500 to $1200 including panel itself. I know you can't go by what google say but $6000.. that's crazy!
Anyways, I am not sure what happened here in Washington state but it's so hard to find a reasonable pricing nowdays on anything!

I was really glad that EcoFlow offers Turnkey Installation for $1500 and I just purchased the service yesterday. Let's see how this turns out.
