starting a news site

Im in the process of starting a wordpress news site. I have worked in the past on such sites but that was from like 10 years ago.

What page builder would you suggest to start with, any easy to work themes/plugins that would be needed etc and im open to any other suggestions you may have in general.
I do have recent experience managing woocommerce sites, but not much other than that.

Thanks for the feedback!
