Do parents care what a name means?
It doesn't meet the definition of a tragedeigh but today "Canon" was checking receipts at the exit from Costco. Nothing about the word has anything to do with a person (several meanings).
Maybe his parents were thinking of "cannon" (which also has nothing to do with a person or name) but can't spell OR liked "Cannon" but it wasn't youneek enough, OR really like Canon camera equipment.
But do parents not give any thought to meanings? Fortunately, there isn't any negative meaning to Canon/Cannon but if there were would that disturb them in the least? Or would all their thinking be devoted to creating something bizarre to show how special their child is?
I think I know the answer, unfortunately.
