What are predators caught in Sting Opperations charged with?

In most if these operations they have an adult actor playing a child that the predator talks to. Would it still be possible to charge them with Child sexual assault if the person on the other end technically wasn't a child? Or are they still able to charge them based on intent? Do they just use the sting operation to open the door to investigate more overt acts of child SA?
