[Apple TV] [2014?] Story Mode game about a broke writer

I think it was pretty pixilated sort of like 8-bit, I remember it starts with you at a party celebrating a book deal (?) and then cuts to a year later and you’re broke and homeless. I think the goal of the game is to get enough money to buy a bus ticket somewhere.

One specific thing I recall is you can work in a slaughterhouse or a faux meat processing factory. I also remember you have to purchase food and you can choose to give it to a stray dog. I want to say the title had “monsters” in it somewhere but idk. I’ve tried googling it but nothing comes up. It’s driving me CRAZY!!

Thank you!!!!
