Car accident, rear ended another vehicle

I was involved in a car accident yesterday.

Here’s the story I was on 400 series and there was pick up truck in front of me (safe distance, 3 cars length. Around 80-90km/h). Suddenly, the pickup driver break and i did the same (now the difference is one car). Right after slight break, the pickup driver moved to left lane and i rear ended another car who was stationary due to traffic. I tried to break but my car skid and bumped into the car that was stationary. The car i rear ended doesn’t have any serious damage or injury (there was dent of course). On the other hand side, my car has serious damage like front bumper, lights and all. I saw all coolant got leaked so i think more damage inside the hood. I was driving SUV and the other guy i got into was driving Sedan.

I have dashcam as a proof, i showed it to people around and they say it’s not my fault. OPP said no matter what it’s the fault of the car who rear ended another car, and said it’s unfortunate the situation was like that (no charges). So my concern is how to deal with adjuster, how they will see this? Should i get a lawyer? I got into that another car in 2 seconds (i strongly believe it’s not my fault). Please advise
