Weather… why won’t they let us control the weather in offline dynasty games?

In last year’s and previous editions I’d exit out of the game if I saw weather I didn’t want to play in and then upon reloading, the weather would be different. In CFB26 you can quit the game a million times and reload it, but it seems to be locked into whatever weather conditions and it won’t alter. Why won’t EA let us pick the weather for offline dynasty games?
