Live music listings?

I'd love to go out to dinner and hear some live music. I'd be happy to have a drink or dessert and listen to a house band. I've spent about an hour searching, clicking on every pub, tavern, and bar website to see if they have anything. There doesn't seem to be much available. Does anyone know of a way to see all the live music in the area at once?
