Consent order question with regards child maintenance payment

Hi all, England based and looking for some advice please. Divorced just over a year ago and part of the consent order states ' Payment shall start forthwith and shall cease upon X attaining the age of 18 years or ceasing full time secondary education, whichever shall be the later. ' My child is just about to turn 17 and start an apprentiship. Where do I stand with regards the child periodical payment? I understand that after 12 months, the child maint part of the consent order is not valid if a CSA application is made, which as they are leaving secondary education will not normally be paid, is this correct?
