I need some help with the Dolphin file manager and a game save issue

I’ve been playing Stardew Valley on my partners SteamDeck for a bit (around 50 hours) and realized that if I’m logged in under his account playing it, he can’t play other steam games on his PC simultaneously. I want to be able to access the save file through my own account via the Deck itself, which ChatGPT thinks I should be able to do (could be wrong obviously). It claims that I can transfer the save file from the folder of my partners game and into mine on the deck rather than trying to send it to myself and do so on my laptop.

Let me detail what I’ve tried to do so far:

1. I have signed into my own Steam account on the Deck and bought the game on that account. I also started a test save on my game so that it will show up in the file manager.

2. I have located the file where Stardew Valley is in Dolphin under home>deck>.config>StardewValley. There is a folder that holds saves, which shows my test farm file when I’m signed in and the folder for my actual save (but it contains nothing). Under his account, it’s the opposite, where the folder for my test exists and is empty, but the folder with my actual save contains the right file.

If anyone knows how to transfer the save file, or allow both accounts to access it at will, that would be of great help to me! If this is possible of course. I just would rather keep my progress than start from scratch on my own account.
