roommate’s dog ate iron pills

hello,

my roommate’s dog is roughly 50 pounds (medium sized dog) and ate some iron pills. the amount i am unsure of.

she is currently vomiting and making the entire apartment reek of metal. i’m telling my roommate to take her to the vet because she’s ate and vomited at least six times this past three weeks, but he refuses to take her, citing that she eats dumb stuff and vomits all the time. he also won’t take her to the vet unless she vomits or poops blood out.

what should i do? i’m very worried for his dog and i feel like this is negligent. this might be shown to him if he continues to refuse to take her to the vet.
