Bronchitis with green sputum

White Male, 27. 6’2 265lbs

Ex-smoker of 4-5 years(only marijuana 1 joint or 1 rip a couple hours before bed)

My cough began on a Thursday and was HORRIBLE by Saturday. Chest tightness, pain and green mucus. Today on Sunday my symptoms are still there, but I feel as if they are improving. Still green mucus but a very productive and less painful cough. Everything I’m reading says bacterial bronchitis has green sputum and should be looked at by a professional but only if symptoms worsen or don’t improve.

Should I go get checked out? Or should I continue my tea, chicken noodle soup and hot showers.
