How do I think about panoramas?
I hope this is the right place for this post, if not sorry.
TLDR: What do regular people get out of panoramas? What makes a good panorama? Where can I get advice about building a future computer that doesn't crash while making panoramas in Photoshop?
On a whim a year and a half ago started stitching handheld panoramas with my R7 and have personally enjoyed the results. I like spending time pixel peeping scenes from trips I've been on as a way of relaxing. I also like sharing photos on places like Facebook that will create 360 views for people. I just don't know how other people interpret them or what they get out of what I'm doing. I was wondering if people who also take panoramas had thoughts on how the people in their life think about their work.
I generally know what makes a good non-panorama photograph, but wondered if there are any tips specific to panoramas for things like composition or lighting.
I sort of have to nurse my computer through the process of making panoramas on my PC in Photoshop and would like to start planning for a computer that doesn't have so many issues.
