Company is outsourcing what do I do?

My coworker was let go and the company posted their job listing overseas. I am kicking myself for my degree (BS in public relations) as AI and job outsourcing continue to ramp up. I work in the HRIS space and don’t do anything related to my degree. Looking for solidarity and advice I guess.
