Mauritius - One & Only vs St Regis / JW Marriott

We are staying in Mauritius for 6 nights in September on our honeymoon. We had previously booked the One and only (beach balcony suite) but was looking more at the St Regis (former JW Marriott) and now feeling torn between the two and which one we should stay at. We are not likely to leave our resort either way.

Can anyone provide any perspectives on: Beach quality compared between the two, for walking, swimming and snorkeling off the beach How private each one’s beach is Availability of pool chairs Food Quality of rooms Service Anything else!

Would really appreciate it! I am spiraling looking at too many reviews online! Assume price is not a factor here.
