I Found Out You Can Make $50K/Month Just From Posting Free Tutorials — Here's the Breakdown

So I’ve been learning a lot about online business and affiliate stuff, and I came across this guy Darrel Wilson. He makes full WordPress tutorials on YouTube — like, proper 1 to 3 hour videos — and they’re 100% free. No upsell. No sneaky “join my course” tricks.

But get this — the guy makes around $50K per month. Legit.

Here’s how:

1. He Gives Away Full Tutorials
He teaches everything. WordPress, e-commerce with WooCommerce, page builders like Elementor and Divi, and even SEO tips. His content is actually useful and doesn’t hold back.

2. He Uses Affiliate Links (Smartly)
While the content is free, he recommends tools like web hosting, plugins, and builders. But only the ones he uses himself. If people like the video and click the links to sign up for stuff, he earns commission (some are like $50–$200 per signup).

3. He Earns from YouTube Ads
Because his videos are long, YouTube rewards him with ad money. He said it adds up to about $5K–$10K a month just from views.

4. Sponsors Pay Him Too
Companies in the website/hosting space pay him to include their products in his tutorials. But he only does it when it fits naturally. Adds another $5K–$15K/month.

5. He Also Sells Templates & Courses (Optional)
Not mandatory, but he has some premium stuff for people who want it. Still, the majority of his income is from free content + smart links.

The Crazy Part: He Translates Everything
He even has his videos translated into Arabic, Spanish, German, French, and Portuguese. It’s not just subtitles — it’s dubbed with voiceovers. That opens him up to a global audience. More traffic = more affiliate clicks.

Why I’m Posting This
I’m testing this idea for myself now — free value, affiliate links, no hard sells. This isn’t some “get rich” pitch, just wanted to share in case anyone here is trying to build something. I think this is way more legit than a lot of other stuff floating around.

Let me know if anyone wants a more detailed breakdown or tools I’m looking at. No spam, just sharing what I find.
