Positive BCL6/ReceptivaDX - What now?
After 2 failed FETs and 3 cancelled cycles (2 due to thin lining and 1 due to ovulation timing), I recently did a hysteroscopy and ReceptivaDX. My hysteroscopy was clear, but my biopsy results came back negative for CD138, but positive at 3.8 for BCL6. The nurse said that result is associated with the presence of endometriosis or hydrosalpinx.
The first appointment available with my provider is in September, so I'm starting to do some research on what questions to ask when I finally get to speak with her.
I had a SIS last summer, but no HSG since they said it wasn't needed with IVF. I have zero symptoms of endometriosis aside from infertility, so I was a bit surprised my result was that high. Every other test I've done thus far has been negative for anything that might be causing my infertility, and I've done all of the big ones. We initially started IVF due to MFI and had great ER results, so having difficulty now that we're at the transfer stage has really surprised us.
For those of you who had similar results:
1)What was your next step? Did you do an HSG to rule out hydrosalpinx, or did you jump straight to suppression or a lap?
-
If you suppressed, what protocol were you on? Orilissa or Lupron?
-
Were you able to do a modified natural FET after suppressing? The one time I did a medicated cycle my lining was garbage, I had horrible side effects, and there was a ton of fluid, so we've stuck to modified natural ever since.
I'd just like to know what I might be in for and should be looking into while I wait for my appointment!
