Trade or Keep?

I currently own a 2017 Nissan Sentra SV. It has 89,500 miles on it, minimal wear (scuff on the headliner). It is completely paid off and has had all routine maintenance. I have had to replace a hubcap bearing recently, but that's about it on the work. Kelley Blue Book says it's worth ~ $3k in trade-in value.

I am interested in the 2024 or 2025 Toyota RAV4 Limited or Honda CR-V EX-L. I have around $17k saved up for a new vehicle, whenever it is time.

With everything going on economically, would you consider trading it in and getting the newer vehicle or staying with the Nissan until the CVT blows up in my face? (just kidding, kind of)

I am pretty inexperienced with cars, so I apologize if this isn't a great question. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
