Has anyone left a relationship that wasn't THAT bad?

Vent/Rant/FML

I see alot of people on here who have been abused and cheated on, and in an F'd up kinda way i'm jealous. Because I feel like i'd be out of the torment of should I/shouldn't i get divorced. Things with my partner were really bad in the past and I was miserable. But the past 6 months they've made alot of changes, for which i'm grateful. However, the absence of misery isn't the same as the presence of joy. We get along, we love each other, we're attracted to one another, she's a really good person, and we've got 8 years of history. But if someone asked me if I was happily married, my answer would be "I guess". The time we spend together is fine. I don't look forward to it, but I don't mind it either. The food is good, the sex is great. But the connection is shallow, and the thought of having kids and living the rest of my life with her doesn't excite me, but there are certainly worse fates than spending the rest of my life with a beautiful woman that loves me. Being trapped in this indecisive state of mind is hell. I don't know if the kind of love i'm looking for is just a commercial lie sold to us by Disney and i'm being mature by staying, or if i'm settling due to comfort and fear of the unknown.
