Should I dye my hair?

My hair is completely virgin except for maybe a bit of heat damage. I’m 18 and I’ve always wanted to have cool hair but I never did it because both my parents and even my hairdresser tell me my hair is a really beautiful colour. To me it is just dark brown but in the light it does have redish tones.

It’s pretty but I’m just bored and it doesn’t suit my style very much.

is it worth just going for it? and dying it lots of fun colours before i kinda “grow up” and it’s not acceptable to have those fun colours anymore? or is it better to keep my hair healthy and not bleach it.

I’m just struggling bc on one hand i feel ill regret not doing it when im older but on the other hand I don’t want to destroy my hair.
