Bought an ACASI DS9007 Docking Station without much thought-pondering return before opening. Anyone got one?
So the thing is, I have always been using Win and Linux. And hated each one for different reasons. Eventually I found the best of both worlds on macOS (I got an m2 2022 16GB RAM, that performs as well as my ultra core I7 155h 16GB). But as an embedded programmer the lack of connection ports is a drawback. I was using a kind inexpensive hub that can even put my 240hz acer monitor @ 120hz , what is enough as I don’t game. Still, after long hours it will get too hot and eventually turn off. Also I miss usb-a ports so I bought the Docking mentioned on the title. Later I read bad reviews about it, as being unstable. The reviews are too mixed what probably means either bad control quality or poor compatibility with some versions. As I haven’t received the parcel yet I still can return it with no hassle.
What are your experience or knowledge about this docking. I need for plugging dev boards and a monitor. No way I will be using all 21 connections altogether.
