Opera GX VPN: Is It Worth the Hype for Privacy?

So, I decided to give Opera GX’s VPN a shot after hearing a lot of buzz about it. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much, especially since most free VPNs don’t exactly live up to their promises. But after using it for a few days, I gotta say, I’m kinda impressed.

The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to set up, no complicated configurations or signing up for anything. You just turn it on with a click, and it’s pretty smooth. I was a little worried about speed because free VPNs can really slow down your connection, but Opera GX actually did a decent job. I didn’t notice any major lag when browsing or streaming, which was a nice surprise. The only thing that stood out was a slight delay when I first connected to some servers, but it was pretty minor.

What really sold me, though, was the integration with the browser. I can turn the VPN on and off directly from the sidebar without having to open any extra apps, which is super convenient. It also has a "no-logs" policy, so that’s a bonus for anyone worried about privacy.

That said, it's not perfect. It doesn't have the range of features you’d find in paid VPNs, like the ability to choose from a ton of different server locations or super-advanced encryption options. But for casual browsing and streaming, it’s solid enough, especially if you’re already using Opera GX.

Overall, I think it’s a pretty solid option for anyone looking for a free VPN without too many compromises. Anyone else here used Opera GX VPN? What do you think about it?
